Why:

Christmas Windows - Chritmas visual merchandising.

How:

Worked with John Lewis Marketing, Windows & VM teams to showcase the ‘must have’ own brand and other premium branded products featured in the John Lewis Christmas TV advert #Elton John.

Liaised with the campaign production company ensuring every product was customised to fit into each window scheme.

Worked with the John Lewis creative team to install and style all the windows over the period of a week.

Warner Leisure Hotels wanted to create a luxury Christmas scheme that worked across their entire portfolio

How:

Worked alongside DZD selecting products and calculating quantities of decorations and lights for every size of Christmas tree, garland and wreath required

Created a huge installation planner including Freelance VMs, installation times, travel and costs

Gathered a team of experienced Freelance Visual Merchandisers, going on the road to install a total of 13 hotels across the UK in just under a month

Designed the Christmas scheme based on their new product ranges for A/W22

Purchased all the decorations and props needed to create theatre over the Christmas period

Created a beautiful installation for the customers to enjoy, encouraging them to spend more time in the shop

Installed the scheme over a single weekend ready for the product launch deadline on the Monday morning

Who:

FROM, an independent gift shop in Thame, Oxfordshire

Why:

They had a fantastic product range but needed help planning out their floor space, and also dressing the store for a Christmas opening.

How:

Laid out and opened this new independent giftware shop.

Guided the team on how to maximise space using the fixtures they had bought, to create an easy flowing customer journey.

Dressed the front of the store to Christmas to encourage customers to come and explore the beautiful locally sourced products at the busiest time

of the year.

Paid particular attention to the Christmas visual merchandising within the store, to show off all the great product to maximum advantage.

Trained the new store team on how to dress the window, and gave them simple visual merchandising tips to help keep the store looking great.

Why:

To dress the Lorraine Kelly studio to the Christmas scheme.

How:

Worked with the set designer to understand the brief and colour scheme for the year. We have dressed many of the ITV studios at Christmas for over a decade now, including Good Morning Britain, Loose Women and This Morning. Every year they have a change of either colour, set, or location, which keeps the job fresh.

We bring in an experienced team of colleagues to be able to complete the huge task over a single weekend to meet the deadline for the years’ Christmas broadcast on the Monday morning.

We also have to regularly problem-solve with last-minute requests for extra props - so our knowledge of the High Street is crucial at this time of year.

Carluccio’s Christmas Press Show, St Christopher’s Place, London

Why:

To launch the Carluccio’s Christmas gift range to press and bloggers.

How:

Collaborated with the Carluccio’s Head of Retail and Visual Merchandising Manager to create a pop up Italian themed bar to showcase the Christmas Gifts.

Sourced Italian inspired Christmas decorations and props and created impactful Christmas visual merchandising to display everything to its full potential.

Commissioned bespoke furniture for the event.

Dressed the event to a very tight timescale due to limited access to location.

Managed additional prop hire delivery and removals to set up and de rig in a single day.

How:

Worked closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams, to get their influence of what product to promote.

Created Excel product lists and visual story pages for each window.

Managed all product orders and deliveries to site, ahead of a week of overnight installations, across 10 windows.

Worked alongside the John Lewis creative teams during final execution of the Christmas window displays on Oxford Street.

Why:

To style several ITV studios to Christmas.

How:

Each year we meet with the studio heads to discuss their thoughts on the latest studio Christmas ideas. From here we make recommendations for their Christmas visual merchandising.

Working to each colour scheme, we plan out the quantities needed, get everything ordered and make sure it arrives in time to dress them all in a single weekend.

As well as the Christmas trees, we also create Christmas displays for kitchen areas, shelving and the green rooms, so that everywhere is feeling festive.

We also work in conjunction with the studio technicians to make sure everything translates on camera.

Why:

Decorated the 35 foot, real Christmas Tree for the Natural History Ice rink.

How:

Designed the colour scheme, and calculated the quantities of decorations needed.

Prepared all the decorations and bows beforehand to speed up the installation time.

Decorated the tree in a day, working alongside the events company, using a cherry picker.
